Includes more than 20 years of consulting to Management and Boards. This followed a 10 year career in line leadership roles, during which I lived and worked in Montreal, London, Portugal and other European/Asian markets. Based on learnings from multi-national roles in business planning, manufacturing, HR and marketing, my interests focus on devising organisational strategies that successfully drive business value.

l began my consulting career with the Marketing & Strategy unit of PA Consulting Group in Australia, prior to joining the Hay Group where I became a Partner in 1989, leaving in 2007. Along the way I acquired a BSc (Hons) and was business school medallist in my Macquarie MBA.

My work has covered a wide range of markets and enterprises but I have particular depth in the service industries including professional and financial services (banking, wealth management and insurance). 

My clients have included Westpac, Qantas, Snowy Hydro, Blake Dawson, Royal Bank of Scotland, PKF Chartered Accountants and First State Super.

Projects that I have delivered successfully include :-

· Sharpening business strategy,then aligning capability and work culture

· Design of executive and workforce strategic scorecards, then aligning pay systems and incentive design (short & long term).

· Leader and team mentoring / performance development

· Management of major change projects including organisational re-structures,work re-design, plus due diligence and implementation of mergers & acquisitions.
